The Florida Engineering Society seeks to promote professionalism in engineering students and develop the soft skills necessary to succeed in university and industry. FES also represents licensed engineers in the state of Florida.

Students built contraptions in order to keep their egg from cracking after a high drop. Most of the designs were unique and successful protected their package.
Our mentors and mentees met up for some icebreaker questions and sports to help get to know each other and to find out who their match was!
Our second networking night was for the MAE majors. Coming off of a busy career fair, the evening conversations gave students more insight on their industry.
During career Fair, our first of many networking nights generated conversations between CISE and ECE students and their respective professionals.
GBM 3: Elevator Pitches
Students learned important tips on how to make an impression to engineers in preparation of the upcoming career fair.
Representing the org, FES members volunteered to help show kids what engineering is all about!
GBM 2: Resume Workshop
Members were able to get their resumes reviewed by professionals and listened to a META engineer highlight important moves ever student should make.
Members took their Tuesday night to the game room, competing to get the most strikes.
GBM 1: Intro to FES + Krispy Kreme
Our first GBM this semester was a tower building competition! With limited resources, teams raced to build the most stable structure.
Over 300 people from engineering orgs across campus came out to our field day! All kinds of games were played, from football to a tug of war competition.
